Venue

The venue is well known to dancers — the Sokol Hall in Polnička near Žďár nad Sázavou.

The premises of the Sokol Hall provide ample space for both dancing and relaxation.
The main dance area will be the large gymnasium, which has recently been fitted with a new floor.

Indoor shoes are required inside the building.
There is also a STRICTLY NO ENTRY policy for shoes that leave marks and for stiletto heels without protective caps.

For motorists:

The village of Polnička is situated on the main road I/37 between Žďár nad Sázavou and Přibyslav. This is the principal route used by most visitors, whether arriving from the D1 motorway or from the direction of Pardubice and Hradec Králové.

Directions

From the D1 motorway (exit 162 – Velké Meziříčí / Měřín): proceed via Ostrov nad Oslavou to Žďár nad Sázavou and continue on road I/37 towards Přibyslav and Havlíčkův Brod. Polnička is located approximately 4 km beyond Žďár nad Sázavou.
From Pardubice / Hradec Králové: follow road I/37 through Chrudim and Ždírec nad Doubravou to Žďár nad Sázavou and continue towards Přibyslav.
From Jihlava / Havlíčkův Brod: take road I/38 to Havlíčkův Brod and then road I/37 towards Žďár nad Sázavou. Polnička is approximately 18 km from Havlíčkův Brod.

The Sokol Hall is located in the central part of Polnička, near the municipal office and the local primary school. Approximately 200 m from the main crossroads towards Přibyslav, turn right.

Visitors may use designated parking spaces or park in accordance with Act No. 361/2000 Coll. — the Road Traffic Act, ensuring that access and passage remain unobstructed.

Polnička lies on the main route Žďár nad Sázavou – Havlíčkův Brod.
Regular bus services operate several times daily from Žďár nad Sázavou (bus station); the journey takes approximately 10 minutes.
From Havlíčkův Brod the journey takes about 25 minutes.

Train:

The nearest railway station is Žďár nad Sázavou (on the Prague – Havlíčkův Brod – Brno line).
From the station, continue by bus to Polnička or take a taxi (approximately 5 km).
